Waterproofing Contractors in Hollywood and the Hollywood Hills

Two very different buildings share this name. Down on the flats it is commercial blocks and older apartment courts with flat roofs, parapets and light wells, where the failures tend to be at the parapet cap and the roof to wall transition rather than in the field of the roof. Up in the hills it is a mix of nineteen twenties Spanish houses and mid century post and beam, both perched on slopes, both usually with a deck cantilevered out over nothing for the view. Those decks were built before anyone had a good waterproofing system for that detail and many are on their third or fourth coating. Behind the houses there is nearly always a retaining wall taking the uphill lot, and when it was never waterproofed on the back face the moisture comes through into the room that was pushed up against it.
